The tickets for the Astra Film Festival 2009 will be available starting from Monday 26th October, at Casa de Cultură (Emil Cioran street 1-3). Tickets are not available before the event. Tickets are available at different prices according to the time of the film screenings. Biletele pentru Astra Film Festival Sibiu 2009 vor fi puse în vânzare începând de luni, 26 octombrie 2009, în holul Casei de Cultură (str. Emil Cioran, nr. 1-3). Vânzarea biletelor ÎN AVANS nu este posibilă. Bilete se pun in vanzare la diferite preturi in functie de ora de incepere a proiectiilor.		The passes for Astra Film Festival 2009 will be available starting from Monday 26th October, at the Casa de Cultura (Emil Cioran street 1-3). Passes are not available before the event. The passes are for the remaining number of days left starting with the day of the purchase, for any number of days or for the entire festival. They are water proof colored bracelets that the purchaser must wear for the whole period covered by the respective pass. Abonamentele pentru Astra Film Festival Sibiu 2009 vor fi puse în vânzare începând de luni, 26 octombrie 2009, în holul Casei de Cultură (str. Emil Cioran, nr. 1-3). Vânzarea abonamentelor ÎN AVANS nu este posibilă. Abonamentele se acordă pe un anumit numar de zile, pe toată perioada festivalului sau pe zilele rămase din momentul solicitării până la sfârşitul festivalului. Abonamentele vor fi sub forma unor brăţări colorate, rezistente la apă, pe care spectatorul TREBUIE sa le poarte pe toata durata pentru care e valabil abonamentul.

ASTRA FILM manages an extensive documentary film collection with public screening facilities. The ASTRA FILM archive started in 1990, and it has collected since thousands of documentaries produced in over 70 countries.

Due to our focus on the Eastern European and Romanian production, the ASTRA FILM archive holds a unique collection of documentaries documenting the issues of post-communism and transition in the region.
