Synopsis / Sinopsis

A young man travels for 7109 kilometres, from Poland to Siberia, to meet Tania, his love from previous summer. He wants to tell her that he loves her and to find out whether it is reciprocal. Eight months away from the days he declares the happiest of his life, the young man departs just with a backpack, having as a gift an album with their pictures together, and the secret tope that the Russian girl might become his forever and would come with him to Poland. Once in Irkutsk, he hardly finds the street and waits in front of the block, in the harsh cold, with a bunch of flowers. If he were to find her, Tania would have to answer a simple question: was it, and is it, love, or not? A documentary about the voyages we undertake so that, by asking others a question, we should know each other better.

Un tânăr călătoreşte cale de 7109 kilometri, din Polonia în Siberia, ca să o întâlnească pe Tania, iubirea lui din vacanţa trecută. Vrea să îi spună că o iubeşte şi să afle dacă sentimentele sunt reciproce. La opt luni după zilele pe care le declară cele mai fericite din viaţa lui, tânărul porneşte la drum cu rucsacul în spinare, având drept dar un album cu fotografiile lor împreună, şi drept speranţă secretă gândul că rusoaica ar putea deveni a lui pentru totdeauna şi va veni cu el în Polonia. Ajuns în Irkutsk, găseşte cu greu strada şi o aşteaptă pe fată în faţa blocului, în ger, cu un buchet de flori. Dacă va fi de găsit, Tania va trebui să îi răspundă la o întrebare simplă: a fost şi este sau nu iubire? Un documentar despre călătoriile pe care le facem pentru ca, punând altora o întrebare, să ne cunoaştem mai bine pe noi înşine.
