EUROPA COMPETITION
|
The EUROPE COMPETITION focuses on films with a central and eastern European theme. The eighteen films in the selection investigate current issues in this rapidly changing part of our continent: wounds of the Yougoslavian wars yet unhealed, the fallout of transition, absurdities of a dictatorship, fallen communist symbols, multiethnic relations, and the intricate story of the East-West encounter.
Competiţia EUROPA se concentrează pe filme cu o temă central şi est-europeană. Cele 18 filme din selecţie investighează problemele curente în această parte a continentului care se schimbă rapid: răni ale războaielor iugoslave nevindecate încă, produsul secundar al tranziţiei, absurditătile unei dictaturi, simbolurile comuniste căzute, relaţiile multietnice şi povestea complicată a întâlnirii dintre est şi vest.
