Synopsis / Sinopsis

“Gauchos: If You don't Get On, You Won't Fall Off” is a film about the cowboys in Argentina and their lifestyle. From childhood to old age, all gauchos spend most of their time on saddle. They learn to tame wild animals, always using kindness and attachment, they take part in rodeos, regardless of how often they might fall of is they’ll have an accident. South America’s cowboys did not disappear, they adapted to the modern world: they are now butchers or office workers, but tradition goes on. The passion is transmitted from father to son or even daughter. The only school of this craft learned from passion is the family, the only instructor id the horse. A film about freedom and tradition, passion and patience, power and trust, with Argentinean music and costumes, dust under hooves and manes waving in the golden sunset light.

„Gauchos: Dacă nu te sui, nu cazi” este un film despre cowboy-ii din Argentina şi stilul lor de viaţă. Din copilărie la bătrâneţe, toţi Gauchos îşi petrec mare parte din viaţă în spinarea calului. Învaţă să domesticească animalele sălbatice, întotdeauna folosindu-se de blândeţe şi afecţiune, apoi participă la rodeo, indiferent de câte ori vor cădea sau dacă se vor accidenta. Cowboy-ii sud-americani nu au dispărut, ci s-au adaptat lumii moderne: sunt nevoiţi acum să lucreze şi ca măcelari sau în birouri, dar tradiţia merge mai departe. Pasiunea este transmisă din tată în fiu sau chiar fiică. Singura şcoală a acestei ocupaţii făcute din pasiune este familia, iar singurul profesor este calul. Un film despre libertate şi tradiţie, pasiune şi răbdare, putere şi încredere, cu muzică şi costume argentiniene, praf sub copite şi coame fluturând în lumina de aur a apusului.
