Synopsis / Sinopsis

Jarreth Merz is an actor of Swiss and Nigerian origins who lives in Los Angeles. He is confronted with his African roots when he learns about the death of his father. Nigerian tradition requires that he as the first born must take the responsibility for the father's family and his funeral. Jarreth begins a journey of discovery of a country and a culture that are part of him but to whom he doesn't belong.

Jarreth Merz, actor de origine elveţiană şi nigeriană, trăieşte la Los Angeles. Descendenţa sa africană devine dintr-o dată pregnantă, odată cu vestea morţii tatălui său. În Nigeria, tradiţia cere ca primul născut să organizeze înmormîntarea. Tot lui îi revine responsabilitatea de a avea grijă de familia tatălui său. Jarreth porneşte în descoperirea unei ţări şi a unei culturi care sunt parte din el, dar cărora nu le aparţine.
