Synopsis / Sinopsis

Many people hang around in cyber-bars in Cameroon. Most of the customers are women in search of husbands. The ideal candidate should be white and live in a rich country. The film follows several crisscrossing stories of couples who have met online. Sometimes internet encounters turn out badly. Cyberspace can be a dangerous place, and prostitution is only one click away. Men and women living in the North and in the South, speak about dreams, illusions, despair and hope.

Internet-Cafe-urile din Camerun sunt locuri aglomerate. Clientela o formează, în mare parte, femei în căutare de soţi. Candidatul ideal trebuie să fie alb şi, preferabil, dintr-o ţară bogată. Filmul urmăreşte povestea cîtorva cupluri care s-au cunoscut online. Uneori, întîlnirile prin Internet se sfîrşesc prost. Cyberspaţiul poate fi un loc periculos, unde prostituţia e doar la distanţă de un click. Bărbaţi şi femei, din nord şi din sud, îşi împărtăşesc visele, iluziile, disperarrea şi speranţa.
