Synopsis / Sinopsis

A mining company wants to reopen the gold and silver exploitation from Certej Mine, Hunedoara county and build two draught lakes based on cyanide. The people whose land is about to be poisoned are determined to fight till the end. The mining company stops at nothing to hide its real intentions. And the authorities have downright reasons to support the company. A story about people who don't want their land to be poisoned, a story about companies and businesses for which humans don't matter, a story in which the political and financial interests are above everything. “The chronicle of a disaster foretold” tells the story of a company that, when got stuck in plan A – Rosia Montana, goes to plan B – Valea Frumoasei and the gold mines from Certej. At the end of the movie, from the last frame before the credits, we will find out who this mining company really is.

O companie minieră vrea să redeschidă exploatarea de aur şi argint la Mina Certej, judeţul Hunedoara şi să construiască două iazuri de decantare pe bază de cianuri. Oamenii al cărui pământ urmează să fie otrăvit sunt hotărâţi să lupte până la capăt. Compania minieră face totul pentru a-şi ascunde adevăratele intenţii. Iar autorităţile au interese vădite pentru a susţine compania. O poveste despre oamenii care nu vor să le fie otrăvit pământul, o poveste despre companii şi afaceri pentru care oamenii nu contează, o poveste în care interesele politice şi financiare sunt mai presus de tot. „Cronica unui dezastru anunţat” spune istoria unei companii care, atunci când a fost blocată în planul A - Roşia Montana, trece la planul B - Valea Frumoasei şi minele de aur de la Certej. La finalul filmului, din ultimul cadru înainte de genericul de final, vom afla cine este cu adevărat această companie minieră.
