Synopsis / Sinopsis

There is a place in Turkey where the Black Sea shoreline is constantly damaged by loads and loads of rubble dumped by the sea. The life of the people in the region is intimately connected to the sea, and this new situation impairs their centuries-long culture of sailors and fishermen. The project of a new highway that will cut off their direct access to the sea does not make things easier. The documentary explores the impact of these changes on these people’s lives.

O regiune de pe coasta turcească a Mării Negre este sistematic distrusă de tonele de pietriş deversate în mare. Viaţa oamenilor din regiune a depins dintotdeauna de mare, aşa că această nouă situaţie pune în pericol cultura navigatorilor şi pescarilor care trăiesc aici. Proiectul construirii unei noi autostrăzi care le va tăia accesul direct la mare înrăutăţeşte situaţia. Documentarul explorează impactul acestor schimbări asupra vieţilor oamenilor din regiune.
