TRAINING - INTRODUCTION TO DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING
After the success of last year’s workshop in Sibiu, organized by University College London - Department of Anthropology and Marie Curie SocAnth, we would like to announce the Introductory Workshop on Documentary Filmmaking to be held at the Astra Film Sibiu.
This workshop is aimed at preparing social scientists to use digital film in their fieldwork.
Each workshop provides a generic understanding of digital filmmaking in certain parts of the globe. There will be a particular concentration on hands-on teaching of film production techniques by our expert tutors Dr Michael Yorke, Dr Maarten Roos, and Dr Alison Kahn, who have made films professionally and for research purposes in many areas of the world.
OADF’s five-day intensive workshop will give you an OADF Certificate of proficiency in documentary filmmaking.
