Synopsis / Sinopsis
Auschwitz, Holocaust. Questions and answers. Questions without answers. Three differently-aged Jews, with different life experiences tell a tale which is not at all far away. Because “the first thing we have to do is talk”. Whether their parents or grandparents perished in the dreaded camp, whether they are the guides for the student groups visiting Auschwitz, their confessions – accompanied by archive images from the war, or present-day pictures from the death cam turned into a museum – make up a picture of what the Holocaust means today. The documentary is dedicated to the writer Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor, loaded in the train of horror in 1994 from Sighetu Marmaţiei, Nobel Prize bearer in Peace in 1986. The film was completed in the year when Elie Wiesel turned 80.
Auschwitz, Holocaust.
