In a town in Norway, where there are more polar bears than people, Storm is doing documentary work for a video about the serious effects of global warming so evident in the Arctic. Will he be able to convince the editor of the local newspaper to publish his video on his blog?
Storm, 12, lives on Spitzbergen Islands in the Arctic Ocean, writes articles for a local newspaper and looks after 300 husky dogs with his family. But these are not Storm's only concerns. Together with his friend Thorvaldur, the boy wants to draw attention to the serious effects of climate change by making a video for the local newspaper's website. We watch Storm working, telling stories about the area he lives in, documenting and filming.
Recommendation: the film is also suitable for viewing by German-language students.
Recommended for understanding climate change.
