The fact that she is only 12 years old and lives with her poor family in a ghetto in the city of Bangkok doesn't stop Kam from dreaming of what she wants. And she's not just working for her dream, she's making it come true!
Kam is a shy girl who loves music and dreams of performing on one of the capital stages in her native Thailand. Equally passionate about pop music, her father enrolls her in a music school in his neighbourhood, where she takes singing lessons. With the support of her family and her best friend, Kam perseveres, but still gets stage fright when she sings in front of an audience. Will he be able to get up the courage once he has the chance to meet his favourite singer?
Warning: The film contains a potentially controversial sequence: locals cooking rodents.
Recommended for children who fight for their dream despite adversity.
