Tsering dreams of becoming an aplinist. In the heart of the Himalayas, Tsering's world revolves around his passion for climbing and his challenging daily routine.
Tsering, aged 11, lives with his parents, grandmother and younger sister in the village of Khumjung in Nepal, on the route to Everest. Life in the mountains is not easy, especially when you have to get up at 6 a.m., walk a few hundred metres to the spring to fill a large jug with water necessary for the whole family in a day, or walk two hours to shop at the nearest store. Tsering's parents want him to become an engineer or a doctor, but the boy's dream is to become a mountaineer, to be part of an expedition to Everest and climb to the top of the world. The first climbing lessons he receives from his father are hard, requiring excellent physical condition and good orientation to find the ideal route - will Tsering make it to the top?
