The film was shot as part of a research workshop and the students try to capture glimpses of the lives of inmates in the Botoșani penitentiary in an observational way. In the foreground is Gheorghiță, an inmate who regrets his crime and tries to become a model prisoner. He works in the canteen and, although he is often the target of his cellmates' pranks, he refrains from getting into fights with the dangerous prisoners. Scenes filmed in cinéma vérité-style reveal power relations and create typologies in a world that has its own rules.
