The Astra Film Festival has been a catalyst for the evolution of this profound cinematic genre, a privileged witness and the main platform for its promotion. The festival could not have existed and developed without the effort, creativity and extraordinary involvement of the Romanian documentary community. The aim of our discussion is to retrace the consubstantial path between a dynamic film genre and an exhibition platform that has always wanted to keep up with the times.
