What did the parties of the 1980s and 1990s look like? How did people have fun at the seaside during the communist era, and what is left today from those times?
Each generation presents itself with a reality that gives the specificity and emotion of its time. During the communist era, access to pop-rock music was very limited, so the only way people could listen to music banned by the regime was in discos. We travel with Sorin Lupașcu, one of the most famous and popular DJs of the time, through records, equipment, memories and places that were the delight of those times. Aided by the DJ's story, archive footage and images from the present day, the film reveals how Eastern European society has changed over the last 50 years.
