In Romani “dadestar chaveste” means “from father to son”. The book presents the encounters that journalist Iulian Ignat have had in 25 years with maestros of Romanian gypsy music. One of them, like Ionica Minune, Mieluta Bibescu, Ion Miu, George Udila, played all around the world, as peaks, but also end of the line of whole generations of musicians. Others have even became stars of international jazz or world music scene, like Taraf de Haidouks, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Florin Niculescu. The exhibition can be viewed between 15-22 October, at Thalia Hall, opening hours: 11AM - 8PM. Access is free for the exhibition only.

The exhibition, which includes a series of photographs belonging to the film maker Dumitru Budrala, is a route that takes the public on the road full of symbolism, challenges and beauty, traveled by shepherds. With a mixed character - classic photography and immersive experience, it can be visited throughout the festival in the Grand Square and Mini Dome.

The anniversary exhibition invites the public to travel through the history of the phenomenon, opening a time capsule. The exhibition takes place throughout the festival, in the Mall Promenada, 1st floor (former Cador store) and is open to the public between October 16 - 22, from 11.00 to 21.00. Access is free.
