Climate change is one of the greatest threats to humanity. Along with the data that scientists are constantly updating, each of us recognises changes from year to year. It's happening now. "Why do we know and not act?"
Climate reports are constantly coming out and scientists are issuing increasingly dire warnings, yet the vast majority of people are doing nothing, changing their habits, protecting nature, the environment and the climate. Questioning people's inability to be aware of their impact on the environment and the imminent danger that threatens us, Camille sets off with two friends on a journey to Iceland, to the largest glacier in Europe, aboard a boat. We accompany the three young environmental activists on this adventure and learn along the way why the melting glaciers are serious and, more importantly, how melting glaciers affect all life on Earth.
Recommended for students who want to understand climate change and environmental activism.
