Full Dome 2024

Every fall, Sibiu's Main Square becomes the ground zero of the cinema of the future, with the Astra Film Festival's full-dome screenings. AFF is the only festival in Romania to offer the audience immersive - full dome - film screenings (since 2016).
Astra Film New Media Dome is a special program dedicated to audiences of all ages, from Sibiu and all over the country, who want to live the spectacular experience of digital cinema. Every year the program presents a selection of the best productions of the moment, relevant to the new media area.
The full-dome screenings in Sibiu are based on the latest creative technologies and offer a unique experience where the viewer becomes part of the artistic world they are invited to observe; this is the impression that 360-degree cross-media projections give you.
