What does the daily life of Romanian seasonal workers in Spain, Germany or Great Britain look like, between work in the fields and lunch breaks, eating at home and free time away from their families, precarious temporary accommodation and the hope of returning permanently to the country, to the houses they build and leave for most of the year? What do we know about the routines and projects of people who have left in search of a decent livelihood, whom the local press either pejoratively called 'căpșunari' or reduced to the role of victims?
