A vulnerable teenager faces difficult age-specific challenges. Will he be able to rebuild his life after unexpectedly stopping school and giving up alcohol and drugs?
Stijn (14) lives with his father in a Dutch town. After his expulsion from high school and the temporary break with his mother, for whom he feels guilty, Stijn experiences the effects of withdrawal, enrolls in a rehabilitation program and works in a carpentry shop. He goes through an emotional coming-of-age, first recognizing his behavioral problems and addictions, and then ambitiously trying to heal on all levels, with the constant support of his father.
Recommended for teenagers who want to understand the importance of taking responsibility.
