Just released from the juvenile detention centre, Arnaud only longs for one thing: unconditional freedom.
Raised between social housing and foster families, the energetic outsider leaves France and makes his way on the streets of Spain. Poverty and loneliness soon take their toll, but Arnaud is not one to be defeated. He resolutely goes his own way, which leads him into the Peruvian wilderness. Filmmaker Laure Portier paints the intimate portrait of her younger brother as he searches for his place in society. The tenderly raw images and sound recordings also provide unique insights into an extraordinary sibling relationship and the filmmaking process itself.
