About the film
Three decades after her brother was kidnapped and killed, Anette Ostrø turns his letters, poems and family archive into a conversation across time. Rather than reenact the violence, she uses landscapes, layered images and a dancer to evoke the inner life that survived captivity. The film carries his spirit beyond the hostage story, towards courage and forgiveness.
